Community Involvement

WestStar TV recognizes the important role businesses play in the community, and supports several non-profit organisations. We provide free service to the Pines Residences, the Sunrise Adult Training Centre, The Lighthouse School, and the Dialysis Unit at Cayman Islands Hospital. WestStar TV is also a major sponsor of The Young Caymanian Leadership Awards. In 2007 WestStar TV offered the first scholarship for communications recognizing the need to provide training and education opportunities for Caymanians in the communications field. Our goal is to develop and retain valued employees by identifying and training leaders inside and outside of the organization. To that end, WestStar TV has also employed several young Caymanians as interns and trainees in various departments of the organisation.
